Dave Intner is a Licensed Architect, LEED AP and Certified Energy Manager within Southern California Edison's Building Electrification and Codes & Standards team. Following fifteen years of traditional architectural practice, Dave spent nine years providing design assistance to numerous Net-Zero and COTE-award winning projects through the statewide Savings by Design new construction incentive program. In his current role, Dave supports the company's broad electrification efforts, aiming to decarbonize the electric grid and convert building and transportation end uses from fossil fuels to electric technologies running on renewable energy. His work includes resource and training development, case study research, reach code support for jurisdictions, and design tools for the building industry. Dave serves on the statewide AIA Committee on the Environment and the Central Coast Green Building Council board.
