Code of Ethics Pinch Points in a Red Hot Sellers' Market

While the Code rarely changes dramatically overnight, changing market conditions often mean that certain Code provisions see more action now than in the past. Todays red hot market often sees new listings stacked with showing requests and a feeding frenzy of competing offers. Todays unusual market conditions create heightened risks for running afoul--often inadvertently--of our obligations under the Code of Ethics. This session will focus on some of the most recent changes to the Code, along with the most common ways todays market can cause common pinch points with the Code. Attendees will walk out better equipped to live up to both the letter and the spirit of the Code. Participants will leave with a better awareness of pinch points and how to spot them in advance and avoid them.
